Proceeds from the Dinner will be used to benefit a scholarship
fund at Youngstown State University in memory of Danielle Marie Hodge, who died
in a car accident in December of 2002. In Danielle’s memory, her parents
and family have established a scholarship fund, through the Y.S.U. Foundation, to benefit students
who attend Youngstown State University
This
is a designated scholarship perpetually funded. It is administered by the YSU
Foundation, keeping the memory of Danielle alive for many years to come. The
scholarship is offered to graduates from high schools throughout the tri-county
area currently enrolled at Youngstown State University with a preference that
at least one of the annual awards is given to an Ursuline High School graduate
who is enrolled at Youngstown State University. The candidate must possess a
GPA of not less than 2.5, and must submit an essay.
